Welcome, welcome chocolate fanatics! We present to you, a healthy, yet delicious snack, which are definitely not in abundance!
These Divinely Dark Drizzles, or to put it simply, Dark chocolate covered cookies (Hah!) will keep you satiated, without feeling the need to rush to your nearest weighing scale!
~Dark Chocolate (70%+ cocoa) not only lowers risk of heart disease, controls your blood sugar and insulin levels, but also makes your locks glossy, protects your skin from sun-damage, and its anti-oxidants keep your skin well-nourished~
Disclaimer ~ The following recipe will only be considered ‘healthy’, if you stick to low-cal cookies such as digestive, marie or wheat-based.
In a double boiler (or a water bath), melt your dark chocolate until runny and glossy. Dip your cookies to coat them with the melted chocolate.
Now, for the fun part! Sprinkle, dust, or drizzle your cookies with your favorite toppings! We used powdered orange zest, candy sprinkles, silver cake sprinkles, and green tea (matcha) powder!
